18th September 2007 Windsurfing: Castletown, Isle of man Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: 14ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Last session of the holiday and I can't complain as there was wind every day and I got out on the water every day excpet one where I had a rest. Typically the rest day was probably the day with the best conditions, but we had other things to do! Today was good, maxed out and at times overpowered with the Naish Hybrid Freewave (a new one to replace the one I snapped) and a 5.7m. Should really have been on a 5m sail but the water was relatively flat and I couldn't be bothered to change down. Nice to be back out on the Hybrid Freewave as it is such a fun board to sail when powered up. No one else around. |
